Lotus Azure @ Home is a structured, protocol-driven mobile medical service that delivers essential point-of-care services at patients’ residences, limited strictly to blood collection and non-emergency doctor consultation. It is designed for elderly individuals, mobility-limited patients, busy professionals, post-hospital cases, and others who require home-based access to clinical services.
Scope of Service
Lotus Azure @ Home operates within a clearly defined clinical scope:
Home-based phlebotomy (blood sample collection by trained personnel)
Non-emergency doctor consultation, clinical assessment, and medical advice
No invasive procedures, emergency interventions, administration of injections, IV therapy, or medications are provided under this service unless separately licensed, structured, and authorized in the future.
Clinical & Operational Standards
A trained medical team functions under physician oversight using standardized protocols. Blood collection is conducted with sterile, single-use materials and validated techniques. Samples are labeled at the point of collection, sealed, and transported under controlled conditions with a documented chain of custody from patient residence to laboratory receipt to ensure traceability and accuracy.
Documentation & Data Governance
Every visit is digitally recorded in the patient’s medical record and integrated into Lotus Azure’s secure medical system, enabling seamless test reporting, structured follow-ups, and outcome tracking while maintaining strict data privacy and confidentiality.
Triage & Exclusion Criteria
Lotus Azure @ Home will not be provided to patients presenting with:
Unstable vital signs
Chest pain, acute breathlessness, or suspected stroke
Severe infection, trauma, or any condition requiring immediate medical intervention
Such patients are directed to in-clinic evaluation or hospital care in the interest of safety and appropriate treatment.
Informed Consent
Prior to service delivery, patients provide informed consent covering:
Purpose of the home visit
Limitations of home-based care
Sample transport and handling
Data documentation and privacy safeguards
Lotus Azure @ Home is positioned as a high-reliability, protocol-driven extension of Lotus Azure’s clinical infrastructure, designed for accessibility, operational efficiency, regulatory defensibility, and scalable service delivery.
