Medical Procedure for Gulf Council Countries
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) comprises Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, and Yemen. The Gulf Health Council aims to establish a standardized medical platform for expatriates entering these countries, ensuring unified registration and medical evaluations.

Medical Examination Procedure for WAFID / GAMCA / GCC Countries:
Step 1: Online Registration
Visit www.wafid.com, select your country of origin, destination country, and choose an approved medical center.
Step 2: Confirmation of Registration
Visit the selected medical center, where your online registration at www.wafid.com will be confirmed.
Step 3: Form Submission
Complete and sign medical declaration forms agreeing to the terms and conditions of the medical examination.
Step 4: Medical Examination Process
The examination comprises the following stages:
- Initial Assessment: Measurement of height, weight, and blood pressure.
- Eye Examination: Evaluation of vision accuracy and color blindness.
- Physical Examination: Conducted by a male or female physician (based on the candidate’s gender), assessing physical appearance, skin conditions, deformities, anomalies, and communicable diseases as per Gulf Health Council standards.

- Chest X-Ray: Screening for anomalies in the chest as per GCC medical criteria.

Upon completing all tests, you may wait at the medical center or leave and return later. Results will be compiled into a medical report reviewed and approved by the Medical Director.

Upon clearance of medical tests, specific vaccinations are required:
- Saudi Arabia:
- Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccine
- Meningococcal vaccine (to prevent meningitis)
- Other GCC Countries:
- Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccine only
Please check with the clinic to confirm which vaccines are mandatory for you.
Step 7: Finalization and Embassy Submission
