Upper Abdominal Ultrasound Examination The examination of the upper abdominal organs, located above the belly button, includes the liver, spleen, gallbladder, bile ducts, kidneys, and the aorta, to detect any abnormalities such as kidney stones, gallstones, or tumors in the liver and kidneys. This examination is applicable to both men and women.

Diagnostic Examination An upper abdominal ultrasound helps diagnose issues or abnormalities in the upper abdominal organs. It can detect abnormalities of the gallbladder such as gallstones or cholecystitis, and kidney issues such as kidney masses or stones, as well as liver conditions like liver tumors, fatty liver disease, or aneurysms of the aorta.

What symptoms warrant an examination? An upper abdominal ultrasound is recommended if you experience chronic or persistent upper abdominal pain, unexplained weight loss, bloating or discomfort, persistent nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite or digestive problems, or abdominal swelling.

วินิจฉัยการตรวจ

การตรวจอัลตราซาวด์ช่องท้องส่วนบนช่วยวินิจฉัยปัญหาหรือความผิดปกติในอวัยวะที่อยู่ในช่องท้องส่วนบนซึ่งสามารถบอกความผิดปกติของถุงน้ำดีได้ เช่น นิ่วในถุงน้ำดี ถุงน้ำดีอักเสบ หรือความผิดปกติของไต เช่น มีก้อนที่ไต นิ่วที่ไต และความผิดปกติของตับ อย่างก้อนที่ตับ ภาวะไขมันพอกตับ หรือหลอดเลือดแดงใหญ่โป่งพองได้

อาการแบบไหนที่ควรเข้าตรวจ

ควรเข้าตรวจอัลตราซาวด์ช่องท้องส่วนบนหากมีอาการปวดท้องส่วนบนเรื้อรังหรือไม่หาย, น้ำหนักลดโดยไม่ทราบสาเหตุ, ท้องอืดหรือรู้สึกไม่สบาย, คลื่นไส้และอาเจียนที่ไม่หาย, เบื่ออาหารหรือมีปัญหาการย่อยอาหาร, หรือมีอาการบวมที่บริเวณท้อง

Eligibility: This service is available to both Thai nationals and foreigners residing in Thailand (EXPATs). Prices and conditions for individual tests may vary depending on the residency status.

Inclusions: The fee for individual tests includes charges for the doctor’s services and standard administrative costs associated with the administration of the test at Lotus Azure Clinic.

Exclusions: The quoted price for individual tests does not include any additional diagnostic examinations that may be required due to abnormal results from the initial tests.

Usage Restrictions: Individual tests are to be conducted on a single individual per appointment. Tests cannot be transferred or shared among multiple persons.

Promotion Period: The availability of promotional pricing for individual tests extends from Jan 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. All tests must be booked within this period to qualify for promotional rates..

Validity Period for Tests: Once purchased, the individual tests must be utilized between November 2, 2024, and March 31, 2025. It is essential to schedule and conduct the tests within this validity period.

Modification of Terms: Lotus Azure Medical Services holds the right to amend the terms and conditions or withdraw any promotional offerings without prior notice. Such changes will be communicated effectively to all affected clients.

Cancellation and Refund: Specific details on the cancellation of test appointments and the corresponding refund policies will be clearly outlined and made available at the time of booking.
