Refund and Cancellation Policy
The Lotus Azure Centre for Medical – Bangkok
At The Lotus Azure, most services are paid after the medical examination is completed.
This policy explains how appointment changes and service payments are handled.
Appointment Changes and Cancellations
- Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled without charge when requested at least 24 hours in advance.
- Changes requested within 24 hours may be subject to administrative or professional service charges.
- Missed appointments without prior notice may be charged, as medical staff and equipment are reserved specifically for your appointment.
Payments and Refunds
Since payment is generally collected after services are provided, refunds are rarely required.
However, refunds may be considered in the following situations:
- Duplicate or mistaken payments
- Services that were booked but not started
- Medical disqualification before service initiation (with valid documentation)
Refund requests must be submitted within 3 business days of the service date.
Services Not Eligible for Refund Once Started.
Once a medical service has started, it is considered rendered and cannot be refunded. This includes:
- Laboratory tests after sample collection
- X-ray or imaging after exposure
- Doctor consultations already completed
- Medical examinations, reports, and certificates already issued
- Embassy or employer medical packages once processing has begun
Embassy and Employer Medicals
The Centre is not responsible for visa, employment, or institutional decisions based on medical findings, and refunds cannot be issued based on such outcomes.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 7-14 business days to the original payment method.
